    Hi, I’m Chris — the founder of Donnelly’s. I started this shop in 2021 with a simple aim: to create a welcoming space where everyone feels at home and leaves feeling their best. I love connecting with people from all walks of life. To me it's what makes being a barber so interesting. If you love a beard then book in. There's nothing better than using the Cut throat razor.

    I’ve been cutting hair for over 10 years, with training from Vidal Sassoon and Manifesto. My background blends technical skill with creative work across fashion shows and shoots.

    I specialise in men’s long hair and creative styles, focusing on texture, shape, and individuality. A career highlight was leading hair for Sam Fisher’s menswear collection at Central Saint Martins.

    Whether it’s a bold change or a refined update, my cuts are fresh, lived-in, and uniquely yours.

Ladywell
Locals

Ladywell has changed so much over the past few years — it’s got a real village feel with a proper sense of community. I genuinely look forward to coming in each day. Whether it’s grabbing a coffee from Oscar’s, picking up a gift at Gently, or having dinner at Wilson’s, there’s always something good on your doorstep.

Next door at The Larder, you’ll find all your pantry favourites, and just around the corner there’s Ladywell fruit n veg with the best seasonal bits. Delice, the little café on the corner, is perfect for something fresh and delicious. Longstanding spots like the Ladywell Dry Cleaners opened in 1966 and Ladywell DIY in 1990, sit proudly alongside the new - and together make Ladywell the special place it is.
